Overview

Disc Golf Tracker is a disc golf tracking app for finding courses, keeping score, saving rounds, viewing statistics, and sharing selected activity with friends. This policy explains what information we expect to collect and how it is used. Disc Golf Tracker is operated by Reaktio Solutions Oy, a Finnish company registered with business ID 2805134-4.

Information We Collect

We may collect account details such as name, email address, profile image, login credentials or authentication identifiers, app settings, and privacy preferences. We also collect app content you create, including courses, rounds, scores, guests, notes, achievements, friend relationships, invitations, and activity visibility settings.

When you use course search or location-based features, the app may process your device location to find nearby courses, estimate distances, and place you on a map. Precise location is requested only through your browser or device permission flow. You can deny or disable location access and still use search with a rough or manually selected location.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the app, authenticate users, save rounds, calculate scores and statistics, show relevant courses, maintain friend and activity features, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support or legal requests. We use Amplitude for app analytics to understand app usage and improve the service. Amplitude is configured to use EU servers.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Some profile, round, achievement, and activity details may be visible to friends or other users depending on the feature and your settings. Public course information can be shown on the website and in the app. Service providers may process data for hosting, storage, email, maps, analytics, error reporting, or authentication. The app is hosted on AWS, and app data is stored in EU regions.

Retention and Control

We keep account and round data while your account is active or as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, comply with law, and maintain backups. You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate data, export of data you have provided, restriction or objection to processing where applicable, and deletion or erasure of your personal information. Some records may remain when retention is required for security, accounting, legal, or backup purposes.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the type of data processed by the app. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so use a strong email account and protect devices where you are logged in.

Children

Disc Golf Tracker is designed as a general-audience sports app and does not contain content that is unsuitable for children. We strongly encourage children and young players to ask a parent or guardian for permission before creating an account, sharing personal information, using location features, or making profile or activity information visible to others. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information that should be reviewed or removed, contact us so we can help.
